Skids: Ideal for heavy or oversized loads, offering a stable base for easy movement with forklifts or pallet jacks. Skids feature a two-deck design with no bottom boards, making them easier to maneuver in tight spaces and a popular choice for one-way shipping or in-facility material handling.
Pallets: Designed to maximize storage space and facilitate efficient loading and unloading. Built with both top and bottom decks for added strength and stackability, pallets are the standard choice for warehousing, long-distance freight, and any application where products will be stored on or off the pallet for extended periods.
Custom Pallet and Skid Specifications
We manufacture pallets and skids in virtually any size, weight capacity, and configuration. Standard GMA pallets (48" x 40") are available for industries shipping into major retail and grocery distribution networks, alongside fully custom dimensions for products that do not fit standard sizes — including oversized industrial equipment. We offer both stringer and block construction depending on your weight, handling, and four-way entry requirements, and we build heavy-duty pallets capable of supporting loads from a few hundred pounds to several thousand.
For shipments destined for international markets, all pallets and skids can be manufactured from heat-treated lumber to meet ISPM-15 requirements for export shipments. We work with both hardwood and softwood options to match your durability requirements and budget, and we can incorporate reinforced construction — extra deck boards, stronger fasteners, or corner protection — for fragile or high-value loads. If you have a load that does not fit standard pallet dimensions or weight capacities, we will engineer a solution that does.

Every pallet and skid we manufacture is designed around what you are shipping. Using our advanced Creo Design System, we model the product, the load distribution, and the handling requirements before any wood is cut. This ensures the finished pallet or skid fits your product correctly the first time and performs reliably in the field.
Pallets and skids often work as part of a complete packaging system. We can integrate blocking and dunnage to secure your load, custom cradles or saddles for irregularly shaped products, or full crates and boxes built around the pallet base for fully enclosed protection. For shipments destined for international markets, all materials can be heat-treated and certified for ISPM-15 compliance.
